Gabriel, Photographer

Gabriel was born into a multi-cultural family and has lived in Mexico, the U.S., and now France. He has studied at the ITESM in San Luis Potosí, and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he earned his Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Institute of Technology and Literature Minor from the College of Liberal Arts. A self-taught photographer since before the advent of “digital” photography, he has held various exhibits, done wedding photography in the U.S., has published in solo and collaborative projects, and been the recipient of various photo awards.

Since having moved to Paris in 2010, he has launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund one of his ongoing conceptual photography projects, and earned several awards from Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3).

If you prefer a phone call and live in either the U.S., Canada, Mexico in the European Union, we can arrange to have myself initiate the call so that there is no cost to you.

I pay attention to every detail from capture of the event through the processing, editing and curating, including –always– those from assistant photographers. You will receive a DVD with all final processed (and should you so wish, their respective original) photos, along with an online “dropbox”-style delivery.

First-time visitors: if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of knowing Paris, I will be more than glad to help you getting around and provide suggestions for venues, as well as to seasonal conditions that would affect or help improve your experience navigating the city and its unique culture and atmosphere. Mixing a personalized city discovery with photo sessions is one of my favorite things in life.
